After thinking about it and looking into it, a scimitar serves no purpose to a person sword fighting for sport, only to someone wishing to kill someone as the cut is more effective. What's more: Two handed scimitars are very hard to find of the internet as the origanal purpose was to have one in each hand or to have something else in the other hand. Two-handed arabic was rare and never really caught on because heavy weapon fighting was not intended, only duel hand and execution.

I'm just going to stick with using my duel hand european for now and learn one-hand later on sometime.

Good idea...Scimitars may look awesome, but they aren't really good for what we do.  Devin, we gave a demenstration of sword fighting for my mom!  It was pretty cool!

And the nextdoor neighbors were watching, lol

Why is that embarassing? What if they thought it was cool? You never know.

A lot of people think fighting with wooden swords is dorky.  I personally don't care what people think at our school, but for some reason it was just akward.  Especially if the girl looks hott!!!

I didn't feel it was an uncomfprtable moment because of that, only because "how long have they been watching us wack eachother with wooden sticks?" lol
